Assault, blackmail and dangerous theft: 8 huge Home and Away spoilers

On this week’s episode of Home and Away, Ryder (Lukas Radovich) is caught aback when Chloe (Sam Barrett) meets him in Salt and delivers him a check for the repayment of a business loan. She also asks to buy him out of the new catering firm, and when Ryder replies he doesn’t want any money, he realises that their ties are now permanently broken.

Felicity (Jacqui Purvis), on the other hand, is refusing to attend her father’s memorial as she does every year. She has Tane (Ethan Browne) by her side this time to ask the right questions, and she eventually says that she despises this time of year since it reminds her that she doesn’t agree with the assumption that he abandoned them. Her father was assassinated, she insists. Tane then inquires, “Why don’t you dig into finding out the truth?”

Martha (Belinda Giblin) has returned from the city, but her health has not improved. Roo (Georgie Parker) is waiting for test results to see if she can give a kidney to her mother, but Martha has a rough night and is sent away for more tests while this is going on. While Alf (Ray Meagher) sits in her room, anxious, Roo rushes to find out what’s going on, only to learn that the doctors believe Martha won’t make it…

Here’s what’s on tap for the week starting February 14th.

Ryder is devastated when Chloe cuts off all ties for good

Despite the fact that they are no longer together, Ryder and Chloe have been compelled to continue working together on their catering business in order to pay off debts they owe to other community members. However, after Ryder discovers Theo kissed her, their working relationship has grown increasingly strained. Chloe tells him straight: he has no say in the rest of her life now that they’re no longer together. Later, Chloe requests a meeting with Ryder in Salt, and he is surprised when she hands him a check for half of the money they owe. She has not only paid off her half of the debt, but she has also asked to buy out his stake of the company. Ryder says he doesn’t want any money from her and that the company is entirely hers. Ryder is devastated; their ties have now been broken for good.

Alf finds it difficult to believe Marilyn has changed her demeanour

Marilyn has been causing problems for everyone in the Bay lately, and Justin is the newest victim. He tries to reconcile fences with her, but she is abrasive, insisting that confronting Mackenzie in Salt about Logan was fine. However, the couple is interrupted when Alf returns from the city unexpectedly, causing Marilyn to collapse into his arms in relief. To Justin’s surprise, she soon returns to her old self, and Alf is baffled as to why he received such a frightened phone call from her. When he discovers that Marilyn no longer works at the Diner because she doesn’t feel supported, his uncertainty leads to rage.

He marches over to Irene and asks how she could have allowed this to happen. Irene, on the other hand, claims that Alf is in the dark about a lot of things. Marilyn hasn’t been herself in weeks, and if he doesn’t notice, he must be living under a rock!

When Ari shows up on the Paratas’ doorstep, he gets into a fight with Matthew

Even though having them get to know one other is Mia’s worst nightmare, she has been battling to keep newcomer Matthew away from Chloe. Ari insists on telling Chloe the truth about him, but Mia doesn’t want Chloe to know Matthew is only her father because he sexually attacked her. Mia and Ari are furious when they get home to find Matthew waiting outside the house for Chloe in his car, and they confront him. Matthew, on the other hand, claims that Chloe is his daughter and that there is nothing he can do about it. When Ari sees Matthew’s face turn crimson, he punches him in the jaw, telling him, ‘You just made a major mistake.’

Matthew blackmails Mia with his assault

When Ari attacks Matthew, Chloe is shocked and tries to apologise. She does, however, make an unintentional reference to Ari’s time in prison, which gives Matthew pause. When Chloe takes a break, he picks up his phone and asks a coworker to do some research on Ari on his behalf. He gets the knowledge he needs later and confronts Mia. He makes it plain that if Mia tries to keep Chloe away from him, he would send Ari back to prison immediately. Ari notices Mia watching Chloe get into Matthew’s car later that afternoon and wonders why she isn’t doing anything. She informs him bitterly that since he assaulted Matthew, she now has to play ball or risk losing him to prison once more…

Tane is the first person Felicity tells about her father’s death

Cash informs Jasmine that his father’s annual memorial service is approaching, which means it’s time for the annual chat with Felicity, in which she refuses to engage – and then vanishes for a while. After the trauma with Anne, he says he hoped things would be different this time, but it’s looking like it’ll be the same. Meanwhile, Felicity is looking forward to meeting Tane, but her mood darkens when she receives a text from Cash. Tane inquires about her brother’s situation, but Felicity refuses to discuss anything. Felicity ultimately talks about the memorial after some prodding, but she makes it plain that she doesn’t want to go because everything is a lie – their father didn’t abandon them. Felicity is certain he was assassinated.

John wants Nikau to clean and service the Polaris once he’s finished with them. When Theo arrives, Nikau is grumbling his way through the job.

Theo looks out to sea and asks if that’s a swimmer struggling in the water after a brief conversation. Nikau leaps to his feet and sprints down to the beach, but Theo bursts out laughing and leaps into the Polaris, driving away and leaving Nikau to deal with the repercussions alone.

Logan visits by and proposes that home dialysis might be a possibility for Kieran and Roo while they wait to learn if they’re a match to donate. Martha is eager to get started, but at home, Alf and Roo are at odds, both wanting the same thing but unable to figure out how to pay for it.

The next day, Roo arrives at the hospital to find Alf distraught in an empty room. Because Martha had a difficult night, she was carried away for more examinations. When Roo goes looking for additional information, she learns that the physicians are beginning to doubt Martha’s ability to survive a kidney transplant…

As he prepares to assist his family, Ryder swallows his pride

Ryder is hanging out with Bella and Nikau when he has to admit that he and Chloe are no longer partners in business. He swiftly shifts the subject, stating that his new focus is on repaying his own debt to his family. Later, at home, he overhears Alf and Roo bickering over where to get the money for Martha’s home dialysis and feels a wave of shame wash over him. He speaks with Mackenzie the next day about the videos he was working on with Theo.

He claims that he would still be manufacturing them if Theo hadn’t kissed Chloe. Mac, on the other hand, gives Ryder a reality check by suggesting that if he cares about his family, making amends with Theo would be worthwhile. Ryder unwillingly approaches Theo and asks if they can re-establish their collaboration, forced to choose between his pride and his family.

Will Theo, on the other hand, agree?
