Next week on UK television, Nikau Parata of Home and Away irritates his uncle Ari by doubting his fitness for child adoption.
Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) says something harsh to Ari, accusing her of not being devoted enough to their own family.
Ari (Rob Kipa-Williams) and his partner Mia (Anna Samson) decide to focus more on their adoption goal in upcoming episodes.
The couple invites John Palmer (Shane Withington) home for dinner to get some advice from him about fostering Jett James.

Although John acknowledges that his experience with adoption and fostering will be limited, he offers lots of support.
Ari and Mia inform Nikau of their intentions the next day.
When Nikau learns that Ari has assisted Dean Thompson (Patrick O’Connor) in moving in with Ziggy Astoni (Sophie Dillman) at the farmhouse, he becomes chilly towards his uncle.
Dean is staying with Ziggy to help him recuperate from his car accident.

Nikau is dissatisfied with Ari’s involvement, claiming that he should be more loyal to his brother Tane (Ethan Browne), who recently divorced Ziggy.
As the Parata family feud becomes personal, Nikau demands to know when the government began permitting ex-convicts to adopt children.
Ari and Mia are both taken aback, since they hadn’t regarded Ari’s background as a factor in their prospects.
The couple seeks counsel from John and is relieved to learn that they will still have a chance testosterone propionate to impress the adoption agency.

Meanwhile, Nikau informs Tane of the altercation and is given food for thought when Tane advises him to apologise.
When Nikau apologises, will Ari and Mia accept it?
