Home and Away spoilers: Logan Bennett’s attempt to help Mackenzie BACKFIRES!

In Home and Away, Logan Bennett (Harley Bonner) tries and fails to help a heartbroken Mackenzie Booth (Emily Weir).

Logan was taken aback when his girlfriend Mackenzie revealed that she had a romantic relationship with Ari Parata, whose death had a profound impact on her.

Logan informed Mackenzie it was appropriate to grieve over an ex when she revealed the romance, and he became determined to support her through her sadness…

But there’s a fine line between being helpful and being overly helpful… Logan, unfortunately, belongs to the latter group.

Logan enlists Ryder Jackson (Lukas Radovich) to spy on Mackenzie at Salt, determined to assist her in any way he can.

He just wants to make sure Mackenzie is fine!

Ryder is hesitant to spy on his boss, but he takes Logan’s number just in case. However, Ryder’s undercover mission causes him to act strangely, and Mackenzie soon figures out what’s going on… and, to put it mildly, she’s not impressed!

Jasmine Delaney (Sam Frost) wants to know if Cash Newman (Nicholas Cartwright), her boyfriend, is reconsidering moving in with her.

Is it possible that the truth is that he has doubts about their relationship?

Later, Cash confides in his sister Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) and admits that the problem isn’t Jasmine, but Irene (Lynne McGregor)!

Cash tells his younger sister that he wants out of the awkward housemate situation, but she quickly reminds him that changing his mind about moving in would break Jasmine’s heart.

After Felicity’s attempts to resolve the situation fail, Irene resolves to take matters into her own hands and confront Cash…

What will she say to make him feel at ease in her presence?

After the tribute video he made with Ryder went down like a lead balloon with Mia Parata, Theo Poulos (Matt Evans) is feeling remorseful (Anna Samson).

Justin Morgan (James Stewart) helps Theo put things in perspective by reminding him that, while his intentions were genuine, it was just bad timing on his part, and that he shouldn’t take it personally because sadness causes people to act in strange ways.

Justin uses the chance to ask Theo about his father, Dimitri, while they’re conversing, but the conversation is cut short… Justin is left to ponder what transpired between his estranged father and his son…
