On Home and Away, things aren’t looking good for Ari Parata (Rob Kipa-Williams).
Ari was taken to the hospital from the police remand centre after suffering severe stomach symptoms.
Ari has a type of cancer that has spread throughout his body, according to hospital doctor Logan Bennett (Harley Bonner).
On today’s episode of the Australian soap, the Parata family is taken aback by Ari’s decision to forego surgery that could have extended his life.
How can Ari give up so easily?
Ari explains why he made the decision he did.
If he’s found guilty of the murder of Matthew Montgomery after falsely confessing, he’ll be sentenced to life in jail.
If death is approaching, Ari says that he wants to go out on his own terms, surrounded by the people he cares about.
Ari’s fiancee, Mia Anderson (Anna Samson), his brother, Tane (Ethan Browne), nephew, Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo), and Mia’s daughter, Chloe (Sam Barrett), are all reeling from the tragedy.
How much longer will Ari be able to keep going?
After attempting to play cupid between his mother, Karen (Georgia Adamson), and her lover, Brett Maloney, Dean Thompson (Patrick O’Connor) is crossing his fingers (Aaron Glenane).
But, knowing his mother’s fiery personality, all Brett has to do is say the wrong thing to set her off again!
When Dean returns to the farmhouse, however, it appears like the plan worked… a bit too well.
When Dean sees Karen half-naked and Brett wearing only a towel, he doesn’t know where to look.
Dean and his girlfriend, Ziggy Astoni (Sophie Dillman), have been trying to reclaim the farmhouse.
Karen and Brett, on the other hand, appear to be settling in and utilising it as their own personal love nest!
