Home and Away star Ray Meagher reveals major 2023 teasers

“We’ve got the lot.”

Spoilers for UK viewers of Home and Away are below.

Ray Meagher, the star of Home and Away, has released significant teasers for a few of the early 2023 episodes of the soap opera.

The actor, who has been portraying Alf Stewart since 1988, talked about the early seasons of the show and gave a preview of what’s to come in an interview with Inside Soap.

In reference to the future episodes, Meagher teased: “You will have to keep watching as it is coming up on UK screens shortly. We had a location shoot in a town called Young, which was amazing.

Births, deaths, marriages, disasters, drama—we’ve got it all next year, so don’t miss it! He went on.

Channel 5 stated they would be honouring the 35th anniversary of Home and Away by screening vintage episodes for the following six weeks while the soap opera takes a break while they start their holiday programming.

Meagher, who has played a character in Summer Bay since the premiere, also discussed the legacy of the soap opera and the reasons it has remained so popular.

“The writers and the site scouts deserve a lot of credit,” he remarked. “The idea was for a rural coastal town, and that was brilliant. Summer Bay was built in Palm Beach because anywhere you put a camera, it will look amazing.

The actor hinted that Alf could want to move on earlier this year when he talked about his future on the programme.

“More often than not, I adore it here. That has a lot to do with the individuals, too,” Meagher added. The crew, who are great, are an important component of that. It’s similar like leaving one family every day to go to another one for work. In terms of a straightforward response, I’ll eventually leave. When though? No one knows.
