Lincoln Younes looks completely unrecognisable for new project

Lincoln Younes looks nothing like Casey Braxton, who we fell in love with as a fresh-faced River Boy on Home and Away.

The actor now has longer hair and a full beard, but it’s his most recent appearance that has fans in a frenzy.

Lincoln uploaded a snapshot of himself on set of a new project on Instagram on Wednesday, with his hair covered in salt and sand, looking like a washed-up castaway.

“Thank you so much. Lot of salt ??, “He added a caption to the photo. “On a really unique project, only a few days of filming remain… ?”

The 29-year-old initially debuted his new appearance to followers in July of this year, when he stated that he had been letting his hair grow out due to the lockdown in Sydney.

“Lockdown Final Form ??” he remarked at the time. “Stay safe.”

It appears to have come in useful for the new project he’s working on, which fans will no doubt be interested in learning more about.

The former Home and Away actor will also appear in After The Verdict, a new Channel Nine drama premiering next year.

The series follows four very diverse Australians who have just completed jury duty in a high-profile murder trial and decide to intervene.

Blindspot’s Sullivan Stapleton and Kath & Kim’s Magda Szubanski will star with Lincoln.

Lincoln has recently been busy with a variety of intriguing parts, including appearances in local series such as Hiding, Love Child, and Dead Lucky, as well as the US drama Grand Hotel.

Lincoln’s current project follows his departure from Doctor Doctor, where Channel Nine announced earlier this year that season five would be the final season.

Following the news, Lincoln turned to Instagram to post the following: “I couldn’t have wished for a more lovely cast and team with which to work… @9doctordoctor, thank you for having me. You’re a genuinely unique group of people.”
