Former Neighbours and Home and Away star Jodi Gordon shares future acting plans

The actress is considering a comeback to the big screen.
Jodi Gordon, a former star of Home and Away and Neighbours, has been chatting about her acting career and seems eager to return to our screens.

From 2005 to 2010, the actress portrayed Martha MacKenzie in Home and Away, and from 2016 to 2020, Elly Conway on Neighbours.

I haven’t had an agent in years, but I just acquired one. Speaking to the Daily Mail, Jodie stated, “I’m extremely pleased to get back into acting.

It was quite wonderful to return and do the Neighbours finale, but I’m also very interested in opportunities that may arise in acting in general.

Jodi was open and honest about her struggles with alcohol as well as the measures she has been doing to ensure that she takes care of both her physical and mental health after a stay in rehab.

“I feel fantastic. I try my best to make sure I’m taking care of my health and mind by living each day as it comes.

Along with physical activity, “mental wellness is a significant part of taking care of myself now,” she continued.

Elly was reunited with Chloe Brennan in the Neighbours finale, as was previously mentioned, and the two were prepared to begin a new life in Sydney.

The happy ending that “Chelly” received may prove to be a roadblock for April Rose Pengilly, who plays Chloe, when Neighbours premieres new episodes on Amazon Freevee in 2023.

We basically have no information and don’t even know whether we’ll be asked, Pengilly admitted, adding that she is unsure if she would be asked back. Additionally, I fear that if I go back, Chelly might split up, and I don’t want to ruin our happy ending.

For the major Neighbours revival, only Alan Fletcher (Karl), Jackie Woodburne (Susan), Ryan Moloney (Toadie), and Stefan Dennis have been given official confirmation (Paul).

Before the ensemble begins filming in April, the soon-to-be-renamed Farewell Tour, which will feature three of those names in addition to Pengilly, will continue in the UK in March.
