The secret identity of newcomer Kiri Hua Durant, who has ties to a Ramsay Street resident, will be revealed on Neighbours.
Kiri, played by Gemma Bird Matheson, makes her UK debut this week when she hosts various characters at River Bend, including Glen Donnelly (Richard Huggett) and Nicolette Stone (Charlotte Chimes).
During the escape, Glen’s odd behaviour is noticed, and it’s suggested that he and Kiri may have met before.
Glen can’t stop thinking about Kiri after the River Bend retreat in scenes airing next week. He tells Terese Willis (Rebekah Elmaloglou) that Kiri is his long-lost daughter soon after.
Glen believes it is preferable to keep this a secret because he fears the truth would do harm. He, on the other hand, is desperate to bond with his daughter.
Kiri and Glen’s relationship appears to be a big aspect of the show in the months ahead, with Matheson confirmed as a regular cast member. What is it that has brought Kiri to Ramsay Street, and when will she learn the truth?
Kiri and Nicolette are involved in another narrative set up in this week’s River Bend episodes. They spend a lot of time getting to know one other and developing close, and they ultimately take things to the bedroom.
It appears that Nicolette and her ex-girlfriend Chloe Brennan are starting a new relationship, and it will be interesting to see how she reacts.
Kiri was described as “a bit secretive and flirty” as well as “a good girl at heart” when Matheson’s casting was announced.
