Neighbours spoilers: Terese to fall for husband Paul’s long-lost brother?

Terese (Rebekah Elmaloglou) is suffocating under the weight of her breakup in every manner conceivable. Her demons are closing in on her, and Paul Robinson (Stefan Dennis) in Neighbours is just making matters worse. Could his deeds unwittingly lead her to his long-lost brother’s arms?

Terese is depending on Paul to leave her alone and return to Erinsborough after she has battled her way through the conference and presentation. When she hears that he’s not leaving, he’s staying, it hits her like a tonne of bricks. He tells her a storey about visiting his half-brother, whom he hasn’t seen in 30 years, but she doesn’t believe him and believes he’s simply tormenting her.

For the first time, Paul is revealing the truth, but it’s already enough to drive Terese to drink. She has a hard time with the bottle and ends up on the beach inebriated. Terese has no method of getting back to her room, but a stranger observes her misery and rushes in to assist her.

Who should it be, exactly? Paul’s long-lost, paralysed brother, on the other hand. He gallantly assists her in returning to the hotel, oblivious to the fact that he is not who he claims to be. When Paul finds Glen and can’t believe his eyes, it doesn’t take long for Paul to let them know. When Glen’s brother pulls him in for a huge hug, he’s taken aback, and Paul is astounded to see him walk again.

What happened in the previous three decades, exactly? Terese can’t believe what’s happened to her; she’s been saved by Paul’s brother, and there may be some sparks between them.

She returns home and tells Susan that Glen saved her life and that she is really thankful. Perhaps a tad too thankful. Could his assistance have triggered some emotions in her?
