Sharon Johal, the former star of Neighbours, is venturing into reality television.
According to The Herald Sun on Saturday, the 34-year-old actress will appear in the new season of The Block.
She will feature on the iconic Channel Nine show with her husband, Ankur Dogra.
The remodeling series was set to begin filming on Wednesday.
However, production was halted on Tuesday after a participant tested positive for COVID-19.
The actress has yet to confirm her participation in the series. Sharon Johal has been contacted by the Daily Mail for comment.
Sharon and her business adviser husband Ankur married in 2018, and this will be their debut appearance on reality television.
Sharon, who portrayed Dipi Rebecchi in Neighbours from 2017 to March 2021, has been in the international series Shantaram after leaving the show.
Sharon made headlines last year when she issued a statement about her ‘difficult’ four years on Neighbours.
When she approached them about an insulting statement, she claimed she was met with racial slurs, ridiculing comments, and a coworker calling her a ‘c**t.’
Following her claims, Fremantle, the company that produces the TV show, undertook an investigation, but the results were not made public.
After 37 years on the air, Neighbours will come to an end in June.
