Stefan Dennis, actor of Neighbours, has disclosed plans for a new high-stakes plot in the near future.
A devastating storm tragedy slammed Erinsborough on the day of Kyle Canning and Roxy Willis’ wedding, kicking off 2022 in spectacular fashion.
Stefan, who portrays the original character Paul Robinson, has already promised another major event in the coming months.
The actor compared the plot to Neighbours: Endgame in 2020, in which Finn Kelly wreaked havoc on Pierce Greyson’s island while on vacation.
Stefan said to Digital Spy in an exclusive interview: “I’m quite excited since we’ve recently finished filming some major projects. Do you recall the storey of Fire Island? Another large narrative like that is in the works.
“I can’t tell you anything since it’s a well guarded secret. But it will be as large as that.
“It’s enormous, but I can’t reveal anything. And don’t think it’s because I stated Fire Island because it has nothing to do with it!
“Meanwhile, back on Ramsay Street, Paul is involved in something very significant. As a result, there will be a lot of anticipation.
“We’ve just taken a break from production, but I’m jumping right back into a massive plot, which is great.”
Stefan also advised viewers to keep an eye out for changes to Neighbours on TV, such as more on-location filming and set renovations.
“We’ve had a bit of an injection with all kinds of things recently,” he explained. Our tales are becoming more complex, and we’ve started spending more time on location.
“We’re ratcheting it up a notch.” So, perhaps, Neighbours 2022 will have a positive impact on the viewers.”
