Sam Frost ‘QUITS Home and Away over vaccine mandate and will film her last scenes tomorrow before moving to Melbourne’… after comparing Covid rules to ‘segregation’ in tearful rant

After refusing to take the Covid vaccine, Sam Frost has allegedly left Channel Seven’s Home and Away.

The former Bachelorette star, 32, will record her farewell scenes at Sydney’s Eveleigh Studios on Friday, according to The Daily Telegraph.

After that, the actress will relocate to Melbourne, where she will be closer to her friends and family.

Since 2017, Sam has played Jasmine Delaney in the television drama series.

It comes after Sam stirred uproar by referring to Covid-19 restrictions as “segregation” and saying she was immunised.

‘I was extremely apprehensive about filming a video or even speaking up about this type of thing, but I feel like it’s getting to a stage now in the world where there’s a lot of division,’ Sam said in an emotional video shared to Instagram in October.

‘There’s a lot of harsh judgement and comments being tossed about a lot, and it’s definitely having a toll on my mental health, and I know people around me are hurting, especially if they don’t want to be vaccinated for whatever reason.’

‘There are many various reasons why individuals do not get vaccinated, and it might be because to their medical history, their worries, their family history, or religious beliefs.’

Sam then claimed she hadn’t been vaccinated, but that she had discussed her option with both her medical doctor and a psychotherapist.

‘It’s a really terrible moment to be in society right now, and you feel like you’re less of a human, and you feel like others criticise you,’ she continued bitterly.

‘And you’re afraid to express your thoughts or sentiments, and a part of you wants to say, ‘Well, it’s none of your damn business why I’m not!’ And there are valid reasons for this, and I don’t want you to pass judgement on me.’

She stated that it was critical for the unvaccinated to take care of their mental health, especially when fully vaccinated Australians regain their freedoms.

The 32-year-old disabled her primary Instagram account and shut all comments on the account for her mental health organisation Believe By Sam Frost after receiving severe criticism for her video.

She recently called off her engagement to boyfriend Jay Bruno, claiming that her contentious vaccination position had ‘driven a gap’ between them.

Later, Channel Seven announced that all of its shows would be required to use the Covid vaccine.

Andrew Backwell, the network’s Director of Production, wrote an email to workers warning them that the network “shall only engage fully vaccinated presenters, actors, and crew.”

To continue working at Seven Productions, which produces Home and Away, employees will need to be double-vaccinated starting January 10.

‘To offer the safest possible work environment for cast, crew, and presenters, Seven Productions has made the decision to only engage people who are completely vaccinated against Covid-19, which will take effect in January next year,’ a spokeswoman for the network stated.

‘Vaccination is strongly recommended by Seven to protect our employees, their coworkers, and their families.’

Sam revealed earlier this week that her new book, Believe, will be released on March 30.

She posted a snapshot of herself clutching a copy with, ‘I’m really thrilled to announce, I written a book!!!!!!’

‘I created BELIEVE with my lovely sister Kristine and @hachetteaus – it’s all about mental health, and it’s based on my own personal experience.’

‘It’s honest, raw, and authentic.’ I don’t profess to know everything; I’m still figuring things out.’

Sam then went on to discuss her own mental health issues, saying that she still struggles with them.

‘I know how it feels to lose all hope, to be engulfed in darkness… not knowing how I’m going to get through another day,’ she said.

‘I’ve been through it, and I’ve come out the other side… (and crashed backwards many times).’

‘This is my narrative,’ she finished. One that I am quite proud to present. It’s about discovering strength, bravery, resilience, and optimism while learning life’s most important lessons.
